MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep that product out of reach of kids. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the buildnig blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted.
Food may affect the absortpion of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be hottest taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medicaiton may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects pesrist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, cnotact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), alleriges (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approavl.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emregency room immediately. Smyptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement prdoucts available. Some can be purchased without a presrciption. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chocie of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the msised dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the msised dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the raech of kids.
